Livewire Zine
The Livewire Zine is a printed publication that is distributed across Australia to every major paediatric hospital and some private healthcare facilities. It is written by young people aged 12-20 who suffer from chronic illness or disability and are a part of the Livewire community.
Livewire is a peer-support program powered by the Starlight Children's Foundation that provides creative workshops and distraction to young people in hospital. as well as peer-support and an inclusive community online. I have worked for Livewire since 2016 at the Queensland Children's Hospital, Brisbane, and have been the Livewire Zine design manager since 2017.
